This blog began in early 2015 as a place to collect all my writing – fiction and non-fiction – that was published first elsewhere. As time goes on, I am including pieces that I haven’t sought to place in other publications. Delighted and amazed that people are visiting and reading.
Thank you.
My creative non-fiction has been published by Litro, The Clearing, Earthlines and Caught by the River; fiction in The Lampeter Review (Issue 12), the Larder Collective’s Boundaries and Worcester Literary Festival’s Flashes of Fiction. I wrote ‘Kew Guide‘ (2014) and co-wrote ‘Wakehurst Guide‘ (2015) for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. My writing about plants and gardens has been published in Gardeners World magazine, The Plantsman, The Alpine Gardener and the English Garden. I worked as a gardener at Kew for ten years and now work at UCL.

I’m playing all the right notes….but not necessarily in the right order.
